Bride Wedding Speech: My StoryPosted by: brideweddingspeech
Hi, I’m Gabriela – thank you for visiting my bride wedding speech site. I finally got married to my long time partner James recently and I can honestly say that it was the best day of my life. About 6 months before the big day I decided that I wanted to write a wedding speech but I had no clue how to do it. I did some research on the internet and found some very useful information which really helped to make my wedding day such a huge success.
I’m quite a shy person really and was terrified at the thought of getting up and talking to all my guests as you can probably tell from my photo. I wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and I wanted them to remember what I said, it was very important to me that I got it right. I kept putting if off because I was really scared and then James just told me to get on with it and stop worrying about it.
So I read the information I’d downloaded from the internet a few weeks previously and I just started to write my speech. It took me just over 2 hours to finish it plus a bit more time for some editing because my writing is awful to say the least. I couldn’t believe it, I followed everything in the bride wedding speech guide and it was finally done. I was so relieved. I didn’t show it to anyone, not even James because I wanted it to be completely fresh and original which it was and it was so funny. Everyone was howling, in a good way of course and that’s exactly the reaction I wanted. I had many compliments from my guests, my mom and dad couldn’t believe that I’d have the confidence to stand up in front of everyone and actually do it but I did and I feel really great now and so does James, his cheeks are still sore from laughing so much. Anyway, like I said, I didn’t have a clue where to start but the information I found showed me exactly how to do it the right way.

How To Write The Perfect Bride Wedding SpeechPosted by: brideweddingspeech
A bride to be has a lot to think about. Planning a wedding is an enormous undertaking and it can quickly become overwhelming. Weddings are all about the details, and one of the details that you must give attention to is the bride wedding speech.
The brides wedding speech is your opportunity to thank those who have helped make your dream become a reality. However, it can be very difficult to construct. More often than not a brides wedding speech can wind up being a long and drawn out list of names. This is precisely what you want to avoid. Instead, you want to be able to aptly express your gratitude and appreciation to those who are most important to you, and if you can do it in an entertaining way, even better.
To get started on constructing the brides wedding speech you will want to start with the list of individuals who you feel need to be mentioned personally. Think about what it was that specifically meant the most to you. Be careful while constructing this list. It is very easy for this to turn into a monumental group of names. Your wedding will undoubtedly feature quite a few speeches so you want to be sure that you are going to be as concise as possible. If you can group individuals together that would be a great way to cut down the time.
Once you have compiled your list you can then begin to write the content of your speech. It would make sense to start and end with the most important people. It is the perfect opportunity for you to thank family members for helping you with the wedding arrangements. This is a lovely gesture that they will really appreciate.
You should save the best for last and that is your groom. He is the person that has changed your life and he is now your family, your husband. You need to give him a lot of attention on your big day by letting him know how much he means to you as this is what the entire day is all about, so your brides wedding speech should echo that sentiment.
While you are writing your wedding speech you may feel pressured to either be very funny or very profound. Take this pressure off of yourself by being completely honest with your feelings. It is this honesty that will make your speech even more memorable to those listening to it. Allow yourself to shine through your words. Do not feel the need to add in contrived jokes or built up analogies. If what you are saying is not natural to you it will not work. Trust your instincts with this and simply let your own personality, emotions, and sense of humor shine through your bride wedding speech.

Bride Wedding Speech TipsPosted by: brideweddingspeech
It has now become more traditional for a bride to give a speech on her wedding day. You shouldn’t worry about this because the bride wedding speech doesn’t have any formal structure to it. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to have your say. That being said, I’ve put together some guidelines for you which might be helpful to you.
Do Thank Everybody
Thanks are not just reserved for the person who spent the most money on your wedding. Instead, you should thank your guests for coming, thank your wedding entourage in general, especially the bridesmaids and maid of honor in particular, the individuals who helped in planning your wedding and your parents. Keep your thank you’s related to the wedding itself and don’t enumerate everbody who has played a part in your life since the day you were born.
Do Tell a Story
Of course, the story of how you and your husband met is a good place to start especially if it’s a funny one. You can also say something about your courtship, your engagement, and of the wedding planning. Just make sure that you focus on one story and build up the rest of the speech from that point.
When telling your story, make sure it’s clean and censored. This way, you keep intimate things private and you sustain the interest of your audience without offending anyone.
In your story, you can also tell the audience of the reasons for its importance as a newly-married bride. Again, keep it short and simple because you want to keep it sweet, just like you on your wedding day.
Do Finish with a Toast
After you have given your thanks and told your interesting story, the last step is to toast your husband and the joyful events that have made you husband and wife. Of course, this would mean that you should mention how happy you are being his wife.
With this structure in mind, you can start drafting your bride wedding speech. This is important as you want to achieve cohesiveness in your speech especially when it will be recorded for posterity. You want it to be at least respectable, not memorable for the wrong reasons.
With your draft in hand, practice and practice until you have it down pat. Just remember to sound like yourself and you should be fine. Making and delivering your bride wedding speech should be a breeze especially when compared to other aspects of your wedding.
I hope these guidelines have been helpful and will be useful to you when you sit down to write your own bride wedding speech.
