It has now become more traditional for a bride to give a speech on her wedding day. You shouldn’t worry about this because the bride wedding speech doesn’t have any formal structure to it. Of course, the story of how you and your husband met is a good place to start especially if it’s a funny one. You can also say something about your courtship, your engagement, and of the wedding planning. Just make sure that you focus on one story and build up the rest of the speech from that point.

When telling your story, make sure it’s clean and censored. This way, you keep intimate things private and you sustain the interest of your audience without offending anyone.

In your story, you can also tell the audience of the reasons for its importance as a newly-married bride. Again, keep it short and simple because you want to keep it sweet, just like you on your wedding day.

Do Finish with a Toast

After you have given your thanks and told your interesting story, the last step is to toast your husband and the joyful events that have made you husband and wife. Of course, this would mean that you should mention how happy you are being his wife.

With this structure in mind, you can start drafting your bride wedding speech. This is important as you want to achieve cohesiveness in your speech especially when it will be recorded for posterity. You want it to be at least respectable, not memorable for the wrong reasons.
